So, you guessed it, I had to get new tires this week. Since we bought this SUV I have hated the tires that were on it, but I was told they can’t be bad because they are Pirrelli’s. After all Pirrelli has made a name for themselves as a high-end tire manufacturer. When seeking an attorney what you really need to know is “Does this attorney know about this particular area of law?” If the attorney practices in a different area of law, then that attorney may not be the right one for your case. What many people do not realize is that just because you are an attorney does not mean you know about every area of law. In fact, I focus on family law because that is what I know. But even within family law there are some areas that I do not handle such as prenups. Why, because it is not what I know best and I want to give my clients my best.
So when you are seeking an attorney, do not just look at the name, but look at what area of law that attorney focuses on, how you interact with that attorney, and whether you believe that attorney will give you good representation.
